Marc J. de Vries is profession of Science and Technology Education at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, and professor of Christian Philosophy of Technology at the same institute. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Technology and Design Education (SpringerNature Publishers) since 1999 and is the editor of the book series International Studies in Technology Education (Brill Publishers). He wrote a book on the history of the Philips Research (Amsterdam University Press), and the book Teaching About Technology (an introduction to the philosophy of technology for technology educators). He is coordinator of the international Pupils’ Attitudes Towards Technology conference series, of which the 40^th one is held in Liverpool in 2023.
